Abstract
:
The development of an adaptive gain scheduling PID Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) routine for the control of a robot arm is described. This routine requires only minimal knowledge of the often highly non-linear robot dynamics. Trajectory tracking tests have been performed on an actual robot arm and have been compared favorably with those performed using a conventional PID controller.
